£407 a month for the car
£250 a month insurance
approx £200 a month fuel
nearly £860 just for running it
but i keep telling myself i might aswell do it now while i can afford it (will be saving up for a house once my girlfriend finishes her course on child care)
just means i gotta do some overtime at work for once

Impreza used to cost me £800 a month to run including fuel. That's why I got rid in the end.

I prefer the older shape RS, wouldnt you consider any other car because thats alot of money to be forking out, it may seem ok now but just wait till it starts disapearing out your bank, you wont be best pleased.

I bet you will use more than 200 for the first couple of months. After that it will drop considerably! You will be giving it some throttle....making pointless journys etc because its new
Id do overtime for it though. I use to do overtime if i wanted to go on a weekend bindge. Its worth it!
If i could afford it, i would tbf!

A LOT to spend a month, and are you sure the fuel will be £200 a month?

costs me about £600 a month as it is with the fiesta.
i have thought about other car's but i'm on a 3 year ford options scheme so i can either sta with the car i haveor get the focus or another new ford.
only thing is i know when i'm older (20 at the moment) i wont be able to do this as my dad can't because of the house/kids so i thought i might as well take the chance whilst i can.
it is a lot of money but hopefully it'll be worth it

will be more if i go out places but on average the fiesta costs 100 a month so i've just doubled it for the time being to figure out basic costs

i would too, but i'm on the 3 year options plan, only 1 chance to do this though
edit: it's 2800 insurance as i have 2 non fault claims
i'm gonna do some quotes on an 03 focus rs and see what the damage is there

Are you going to be left with any money left after paying 800 for a car?

Oh, and it doesn't die off...you'll blip it everywhere when you get it and you'll continue to blip it everywhere until you sell it.

2800 for insurance is mental pal
How does the options thing work? Can you not just sell the car & pay off the balance?

Cost of the finance and fuel per month wouldn't bother me. But £3000 on insurance a year would!

Your on decent money for a 20yr old, dont you work for a ford stealership?
Its up to you, just seems like your being bent over a barrel by a black man with a huge cock just to fund an orange ford
