As above really - need a Satnav for driving to France in the summer, so naturally I want European mapping pre-installed because I can't be dealing with getting updates etc.
Speed camera location etc not essential. Priced between £100 to £200 would be good. What's out there?

Halfrauds I got mine from £179.99 and that was late last June
If you need a new mobile then some places may be giving them away with a contratc (CPW etc)

Tom Tom 720T Comes with all Europe street level mapping, as well as UK and Main Europe Safety Cameras and bluetooth handsfree for your mobile. Got mine for £229 which I appreciate is more than you want to spend but it is worth every penny imo

I take it by 720T you have the Traffic Edition? On Amazon for £214, or the non-Traffic for £197, hmmm.
Good, considering both me and dad need bluetooth in our cars (using headset at the moment!)

Bluetooth is handy but the speed cameras can be easily obtained FOC off any torrent site

Yeah the 720T is the traffic version which I opted for purely because of the amount of driving I'm doing these days. As for the blutooth the internal microphone is great but I must admit the speaker isn't fantastic, however it is more than adequate for my needs

Never really had much experiance of them, other than a mate of mine having one and changing it for a TomTom about 6 months later. Never did find out why though

I'd recomend TomTom too. I did my most recent Euro tour using mine. It did get lost a few times, but I think my maps were out of date and it didn't cause any dramas for me...
I'd say buy the maps rather than aquire them after my experience...
