This is my 4th Corsa I have owned, and technically the 8th that has been in the family

Ive always fancied a project, something to keep me busy and requires alot of work, so spotted this at the scrappy and bought it later today, and is due to be delivered tomorrow.

Its a 99 Breeze 1.2 16v, cat c write off, in red/pink
The fading isn't that bad, looked like someone had polished it as there was polish all over it, the main damage is the front, needs alot replacing and repairing but thats not a problem as my Dad does this sort of work all the time so will be following his words.

Had a good look around it, even took it for a drive around the salvage yard

But no rust underneath, the drivers door has rust at the bottom which is abit strange, its also scuffed aswell so will be just replacing it.

So its just a case of getting it repaired, fixed and serviced and massively cleaned up, then get the VIC Test and MOT etc. sorted, then will start the modifying side of things
I have a good idea what Im going to do to it once its back on the road.

So yes my 4th Corsa

You are keeping the 12v aren't you

Nice project - to get that paint sorted, all you need is original T-cut. Worked a treat on my roof and I didn't know how to use it - can't wait till next time I wash the car.

If you want some red cleaning products,

I've got some Red T Cut, and some Red "Magic Plus".

Also the halfords touch up pen, all new, think the red t cut was used a little bit. You can have them for £10 mate?

Yes the 12v is going no where, the Green Corsa is having alot of stuff done to it these up coming months, part of my plans will mean that the Green Corsa will be off the road for a few weeks, so will need something to drive for abit, which will be this.
Then once the Green one comes back on the road this one will be coming off

It isn't as faded as it looks in the pictures, im sure someone has already polished it as for some reason there was fresh polish all over one side

A C16XE, thats the most I can really get insured with at the moment with all the mod's declared.

With the red one it wouldn't really matter as I would probably just give it to my Dad to drive around

Its abit of fun, its only £250, Im not looking to sell it for profit, If i was looking to sell it on then I wouldn't have bought a write off tbh.

I just fancy a project, that is all

tbh, that looks exactly the same as mine which wasn't written off. Explain the difference between that and mine i.e. to someone buying it. Rebuild it, use it for intended purpose then sell it, if you're happy with the green one blaa blaa.

Yea True Deano, as much as I would love to go abit mental with it, I think better option is to repair the red one, do whats needed to be done with it, perhaps do a few bits to change the appearence slightly, not too much so it doesn't look like someones just chucked on aload of bits and look abit boy racery.

But get some money back and spend it on the Green Corsa Instead
