what make have you gone for ??
I had cobra sidewinders ages ago and the subframes supplied with it made them really nice and low.
Then when i got some sparco seats they came with adapters which bolted to the OE subframes and the seats were too high.
is it only cobra that do tailored subframes so the seats sit really low ?

probably 7" from top of seat to headlining and 4" from top of my head to headlining. although mine is a sunroof model so that takes 1" off easy.
this is with normal height adjustable frames wound right the way down.

Cobra sub frames can be used on most seats Steve. They would have fitted the Sparcos too

they are but its not that hard to get them to go on corsa mounts. sit pretty low anyway, i know i could only just see over steering wheel with mine. so if you did the same probably be about right

You can bolt the side mounts onto sliding sub frames. Or just be a man and bolt them in

The Cobra frames are a hell of a lot lower than the standard Corsa items. I reckon you could get away with it, especially as the Cobra side mounts will let you mount the seat as low as they would be if they were base mounted.
I think.
When you planning on buying them? I'm going to be getting some one day soon

ed, the problem i had with this was, its not the side mounts that make them sit high.
its the adaptors that change bass mounted to side mounted.
and these were cobra items!
best pic i have of how mine sat, can see there was room for a cage too.
