Alot of people do it but personally I never will as I believe water and electricity don't mix...

If you've got the money then do it however I have never seen any benefit. My Q6600 is overclocked to 3ghz and under 100% load, Coretemp never goes above 48c.

I was looking at Zalmans myself, but the overall views seems to be that there good as a starter but a few quid more and you could build a setup that could handle a lot more and run slightly quieter.
Necromancern - In water setups it's suggested that you use distilled water, as it is (to a certain extent) non-conductive. Besides, there fairly safe anyways (as long as you have tightened everything and used decent components etc)

My pc is fully water cooled as well, it's a pain in the arse now tbh although i've not touched this setup since I built this system.
I done it purely for noise, most people don't know my pc is on.

I was only thinking of using it on the CPU and fan assist the rest...
Wont a fully water cooled system just make heat travel from one component to another... ? or are they separately piped ?

The Swiftech CPU only set ups are great for ease of use, and not too pricey either.

What I meant was if you had a leak, it could cause an electrical fire

I've had various leaks and no fires.
One was going for long enough to take out my graphics cards.
You'd need to be very unlucky to start a fire with some distilled water and low current 12v, and theres not much i can t hink of that would readily go on fire inside a pc either.

Yes, funnily enough there isn't anything in a PC that's flamable.

Is that the B3 or G0 stepping youve got Richie? My B3 Q6600 is over clocked at 3.0Ghz and idles around 42c and tops out at 60c when running prime95.

Mine's a G0, with an Artic Freezer 7 Pro cooler, and the q6600 has been lapped.

TBH I wouldnt fit any decent CPU or cooler without lapping it. Such an easy thing to do and often has good results.
