Ok, i want to know which coilovers are good for the money;

I was thinking of getting some later on in the project maybe, theres so many out there all vary in price.

Im after one that will improve handling from my current Koni Adjustables (shocks and springs obviously).

Any advice would be much appreciated,

Thanks

I run AVO aswell, cant fault them. I used to run FK on my corsa turbo, there awfull compared to the AVO setup on my nova.
I got mine for £500, expect to pay £500-550 for avos.

What makes them better than £400-500 coilovers? Like Avo, Fk, Gaz etc.

i used to have avo, dont get me wrong, they arn't a bad coilover, just not designed for road use IMO.

the bilstein coilover has inverted dampers which make a fair difference in the performance.

the acualt quality makes them worth the money over fk, gaz etc! never had a problem with a bilstein unit, avo, gaz and fk have all given us problems with seals, corrosion etc

i had 500quid avo's on my track corsa.

SHITE in my opinion thouight they were opk to start with then realised they werent. They arent made very well either... leak, platforms seize etc.

I sepnt about 2.7k on the susp for the skyline- and fuck me, you tell the difference! (not of corsa to skyline obv, but the susp)

i had avo's there are pictures in my garage of them, they fell to bits, rotted leaked etc, they were nasty!

if you get them you need to service them regularly, may aswell get some bilsteins, fit and forget then

end of the day, you dont scrimp on the engine build do you? why scrimp on suspension and brakes?

Why not get bilstein shock and spring setup? A bit cheaper, but will still be excellant.
