Just spoken to the owner of the Corsa I had 3 years ago.

1996 1.4 16v Sport. Its now on 178,000miles

Mines on 118k and it seems strong as a badger. Been round the track, up the pod, round the derbyshire dales up to the fiddle etc

Just keep changing oil seems to keep going

my 1.2 8v has 108k on it and is going slow but strong

had the headgasket done over a year ago and thats all.

im not sure if it is dieing, as it always start's and i never have a problem with it..

might be just due to it being really slow, even more so, after previously owning a valver nova

Still on its original engine. I did headgasket at about 117k. I gave that thing death for 45,000miles of its life

I've seen a few with 50, 60k on the clock and they had totally buggered bottom ends

Phaaaaaaaa, saw my Dads' old Ren Scienic the other day. He did 135k in 3 years, its not on 292k

His audi is on 132k now (05 reg). My Corsa is on 62k, Ibiza is on 8somethingk
