Basically i was looking at the corsa in the link above, it says it's a 2 litre but on the logbook as a 1.2. when it comes to mot time. would it fail for any reason? emissions maybe?

I had to sign a slip saying that my car didn't need a cat test as the engine was from a pre-cat car, don't know if you'd get found out that way?

whats the point in getting insurance if you are still keeping it on the book as the 1.2.

I did mine by the book. Not worth the shit if caught to be honest.
Log Book as a 2.0 litre
Insured as a 2.0 litre
Taxed as a 2.0 litre
MOT'd as a 2.0 litre
Drove as a 2.0 litre

It will be a lot cheaper for me to keep it as a 1.2 as i haven't got a no claims bonus

Just because its not registered as a 2.0 doesnt mean its not insured as one.

He didn't check very hard did he, how can it be legal to have it down as the smaller engine, its fraudulent for the tax as a starter so the liason officer is talking balls.
