Ok-
Im thinking ahead again BUT thats never a bad thing !
Ok, Bucket seats.....
What are the lightest bucket seats for reasonable price, also whats the best way to fix them down as on my old ones which i have just sold i used the original sub-frames (Heavy), along with a special seat subframe (Heavy)....
So basically need some advice on which seats, and best way to fit them in.
Thanks all, Doldy

Awesome, so do you take out the original seat mounting metals etc and then weld in the rails, bolt the side mounts on where you want them on the rails, bolt the seats to the side mounts?
Maybe you could get me some pics Nath? With the seats out?

these bolt to the seat, then you need to weld in rails and bolt these to the rails. just finding a pic of the rails for you

I know they are only good for side mounting seats. Im not sure if all side mounting seats holes are the same width apart?

They tend to be almost the same, the rear holes on the mounts are elongated to allow for slight differences.

found a few

on the last one you can see that the support bars that run across the front of the seat and across where the gear selector is have been removed. theyre on a nova but iirc from stripping corsas its relativly the same principle.
i would advise putting a harness eyebolt on the inside seat bar too as on the inside of each seat theres no where to mount a harness. unlike the outside of the seat where you have the bolting point for an original seat belt.
hope you at least get some help from this

That is superb, so is it worth buying the demon tweeks kit as nath said? Or is it easy enough to just get some bar and do it yourself? Looks pretty simple IMO!

not sure what the tweeks kit includes but i bet you a length of bar and some plate will be cheaper than anything tweeks sell

So some metal will need to be removed to put the bars in. I think theres just the excess metal around the gear stick hump and the other hump where the original seat mounts to (hooks on).

Got to agree there, I've got Imola s' and my back prefers them to my original sport seats. 3hrs back from PVS and it didn't bother my back at all
