im REALLY tempted with a Corsa VXR
ovbiously the new Glacier White would be my first option, but cant really strectch to that with monies
what i really want to know is if i got a 2007 reg, what is:
Average mileage for that age car?
Good optional extra's 'packs' it may have - that are good?
Theres probably loads of questions, but if to be serious about purchasing one i need to make i have covered all areas! its not a cheap thing to buy to need to be serious
obviously once i make the decision next year and we go looking at them, we will check tyres, brakes, engine, bodywork etc etc etc! but for now i want to know basic info.
ive been looking at them allll day and i want!

12k a year average mileage, will be able to pick up an 07 plate for around 11-12k with average mileage.
18 inch wheels are a must, 17's look gash, rest of the options are pointless maybe full leather isn't but I wouldn't justify the extra £800 quid.
Handle well, go well regardless of what idiots say on here that have never driven one, tuning capablities are endless and 225bhp capable with a remap and handling can be further improved with Eibachs or Janspeed springs. Well screwed together again regardless of what people say on here.
Only issues people seem to be having are the age old problem of AFM and the fact a pair of 225/35/18 tyres last around 6,000 miles and aren't cheap. Other than that, best of the VXR range avaliable. Arctic took it to another level with standard Remus and full width sunroof.
Also its worth mentioning that all 500 Arctic Editions have been sold

Millage is irrelevant tbh as long as it had been looked after.
If you get one with a higher than average millage for cheaper seeing as you work close to home within a couple of years you would of brought the millage back down to the average.
Just make sure you get one with the 18's

Surely someone has bought at least one simply so they can sell it on at an inflated price because they KNOW someone will pay silly money just to say they have one of 500 ever made?
edit - i think i probably would, if i had the means to do such a thing at low risk

my tyres are still fine (just about) nearly on 10k miles in a year
i've got the 18" wheel option, and the climate control. although if i bought another one i wouldnt go for climate control as i dont use it ever!
i also have the remus exhaust system (downpipe&backbox) and eibach springs, and hoping to have a remap upto 225-230bhp in october

Tbh, as someone already said, just get a standard one with the optional 18's. Great out of the box, but tyres aren't cheap And an average mile'd 07 will be about 11-12k as said

If you want a white one, wait for one to come up at the right price.
No point going to Arden and then trading it in because you didn't really want it.
