171k?!

Having said that, looks pretty tidy. I knew you'd end up with a TDi barge despite your best intentions to downsize a bit!

interior certainly doesn't look like 171k's worth of mileage.

its condition with these more than milage. We have a 52 plate one at work with 147k (6speed) and the clutch is dodgy and steering crecks all the time and doesnt feel too solid (engine smokes blue on start). Yet we have a 05 plate estate with 140k (5 speed) and its the bollocks - like brand new. I know its to years newer but you would thing the estate would of took more of a battery due to its mileage in its age.

hah ai know i do likes my barges.

i went over it with some very cose eyes and failed to find a single dent or even scratch on it. amazing! minus a few stnechips on the bonnet its actually mint. as is the interior!

dead pleased. like u say its the condition not mileage, 171k doesnt put me off as im not gonna be doing massive mileage on it!

picking it up 2moro at 10, and no springs, wheels anything atm. i need money not a modified car!

Lol @ comparing MPG figures. I have a 1.9 TDi Audi (not a PD engine like chaz, just a normal 110bhp common rail) and when I first bought it I was averaging 54mpg. Once I learned how to drive it correctly and efficiently, I can maintain an average of 60-80mpg depending on road and driving conditions.

XE and mertin, are those mpg figures an estimated average, computer display average, or just something you happened to glace on when you looked down at the display?

Computer display average which resets itself everytime I stop the car.

Was on an hour long journey
