I don't rate Puyol. He's far too head strong and goes diving in all over the place. Completely forgot about kaka, i'd pick him over lampard/gerrard

I knew it was only a personal choice, hence why I put it.

IMO though only 4 players are assured of a start for us - Reina, Masch, Gerrard and Torres, and Masch would be my first name down every week.

Well you are the liverpool man (thats not sarcastic at all). Do you really rate him that highly? I've never really seen him play TBH as Torres/Gerrard always steal the limelight and for the argies i also assumed it was becasue of the team around him

I'd definatley have C. Ronaldo, Gerrard, Scholes.

I picked Essien purely for the fact it appears he can play just about anywhere and do just about everything.

Mascherano is a master of the art of a holding midfielder though!
