Im hearing loads of people with redtop corsas sayin, iv had mine off the clock. As in 140+ which maybe true but the clocks cant surely be accurate at them speeds. So what speed would sound right. Actual speed not off the clock speed?

Ive had 6k in 6th on an F28 and then bottled it, would have gone higher but thats getting scary fast for a 15 year old corsa. Thats about 150MPH according to the gear ratio calculator someone from mig posted. Ill see if I can find it later

And people who say their car did 160 might not be lying, top speed should be measured on a flat road but people cheat and do it down hills

Redtop around 140 I had with an F20. The LET went off the clocks past 140 and was close to touching the reset mileage counter button thingy.

1 had 138mph on the road-angel hitting the limiter in 5th (indicated 142mph on the clocks)

XE with F20

Bloody hell, you lot are brave, I gave up at 130 on the clocks (126 on scat nav) in the Ibiza, still had another 1.5k to go (TDi).

Limiter (6.5k) in 5th on 17s is 152mph on an F20
15s will give you about 135MPH
