Got bored today so started to build my gokart turbo,
got inspired by the Turbo lawn tractor at jdm Dyno, heres my progress any way....

Used an old gokart frame, 11 hp honda 350cc engine, and one low blow ihi turbo from an astra td i think...

progress so far..

Then i broke the cast exhaust manifold so made a stainless one, its all running now, just need to replace the carb and make an exhaust!

its all good fun!!

once i get it set up abit and all mounted correct i will get some vids sorted!

the turbo is oil lubricated, my idea is that it wont get that hot or running for too long at a time so i have bunged the bottom oil way up and put oil in the top oil way and then bung that up, then change it every now and again.

not sure if the turbo is gonna spin up yet so might need a smaller one, think it will only be running 1 or 2 psi but i'll know more once i get it going properly.

can't be a 2 stroke, the turbo forced air would just fly through the engine.
