First off bye bye gsi you will be sadly missed

Here it is after its final wash awaiting a new owner, hope it goes to a good home

After months on end of debating I eventually decided what I wanted and got a new car. I wanted something newer then what I had with some mod cons. It also had to be fairly fast and good handling. Practicality and relibility had to feature too as its also my daily hack.

So the winner was a EP3 civic type R just pipping the clio 182 to the post.

A big thankyou must go out to fad who did a 200 mile round trip with me to come and give a second opinion on the car and pick it up.

Its a 53 plate facelift car in milano red. Wasnt origionally my first choice of colour but I really like it now

Has come with a couple of mods which are a K&N pannel filter, straight through centre pipe on a standard back box (so still nice and quite) and some tein springs

Some pics

Progress so far

Fitted my ipod setup and moved the tax disc from its stupid location

Just need to work out how to get rid of this vtec light and put a cig lighter back in for my satnav etc

To do list

Fit new tyres as the budget ones on it are SHITE
Get it machine polished to bring the paint up
Go drive it

Few updates since I last posted in here.

Firstly and most importantly the shite tyres it came with have now gone

Replaced with a set of vredstein ultratacs. Which I must say I am impressed with.

Also had the car rolling roaded this weekend. It made 194 bhp and 127lbft
The owner of the place said that was good as these cars apparently never make their 197bhp book figure.

My want list is now:

>gruppe M induction kit
>fast road set up
>dif
