Why would it be obvious, Novaneil has a 2.0 8v (with a turbo)

Because most people go for the XE.

Another option that people are moving onto - a 1.8

There's a couple of the X18's and I can't remember which one it is

Isn't there also the X18XEV though? The Z18XE as in the C SRi and Astra is electronic throttle, but an X18 will be alright. I just can't remember which one is the small bock

niether, both too heavy and too shit apparently, and you will no doubt DIE once you crash into a ditch because you will not be able to corner apparently. stick with small blocks......

because it's easy enough to fit and has more power out the box than a 2.0 8v

i don't understand these people that think they are cool for tuning up 1.4 engines etc when they can just get a higher powered engine for the same price if not less.

My XE actually felt more planted, and safer going into quick corners than my 1.6 Sport.

technically a c20let is a c20xe with a blower and a few other changes
