p.s its what my 1.4 8v will be running very soon!!!!

its better on fuel and faster than most 1.6 16v!!

you asked what power it would make not how quick it would be,a c20xe with tb's usually makes around 200,so a 1.4 is not going to make much more than 100 bhp with the setup you have listed.

well you think you would beat a 1.6 16v all depending on mods but you most probz have a chance agianst a standard one. how light is you car then?

he has a point, it's a lightweight engine, lightweight car! I meet a guy at crail running 1.2 16v minor mod's with one seat, it was running 16's-17's, i can't see why 1.4 8v with smart mod's can't make a good 16 sec car?

they are standard 60bhp.
I would agree with what everyone is getting around 100bhp.

if it's an sri 1.4 8v i would say 120bhp TBH depends how high it revs, i've seen the 1.6 8v gsi/gte engine running 140bhp odd on a standard inlet.
