Think thats one of the best ads i've seen regarding speeding. Actually makes you think about doing it tbh. Only takes a second for something to go wrong whilst driving to gain consequences like the video....

Quite a moving advert, its a shame that people won't learn from it, I lost a mate in a car crash because the driver was showing off a mates girlfriend is also coming out of hospital after breaking her pelvis in a crash because she was speeding.

The advert where the boyfriend gets pinned to the girl is the only one out of all that get to me, as its probably the most likely.

I think a lot of people on this site realise time and place for speed =/ However most people who drive dont.

They need to make some adverts that are truly horrible, ones that show how that R8 snapped in half (from a thread last week)..

It's the like the seatbelt advert....if people listened they'd definately use it. Those who don't listen are beyond help and deserve what they get !

Also stricter results of your actions, kill anyone as a result of your actions its murder, so life in prison imo.

That is a collection of adverts, and they're not all from the UK. I'm going to be writing about this sort of thing for my dissertation at Uni, so that could come in very useful.

The one where the boy gets pinned up against the wall and his girlfriend is trapped is absolutely devastating.

Quite strong stuff there. As the other guys said, when that dude gets crushed against the wall, it could quite easily happen, and probably has.

Also near the beginning the bloke rear ends that woman and thinks it's just a bump, then realizes someone was crossing the road.

Tbf tho some of those accidents arent down to speeding or stupidity.

people have totally missed the point of the advert in this thread, such as stu_c.

it's not all about ''putting your foot down'', it's about concentating and READING THE ROAD AHEAD.

sometimes, accidents can't be helped, other times it could be caused by the driver or someone simply walking out into the road without watching the traffic coming.

I think the uk adverts have to have in them what happens after the crash, instead of what a crash does because everyone knows so doesn't pay as much attension.
after the crash i mean like the peoples family, jail, people hate you etc
