basically i dented my rear quarter on danger corsa (a nickname given by my sister after she borrowed it and the power scared the shit out of her-women ha)
although the damage wasnt bad at all there were a few dinks and marks and i had to make a decision,at the same time the rings had gone in the engine so although ive got a new engine for it i was going to have to replace the engine either way (be it this car or another) i was sadly falling out with the car as a whole...



i then heard about an arden blue sport on a v-plate with a blown engine...lad just wanted rid and i weighed up costs for a day or too,
i'd seen it about and remember it being rather clean and it had an irmy splitter on it too
it wasnt as clean as i rememberd....



but aside from the bonnet being the wrong colour (ill be fitting mine) and the bumper wanting replacing (irmy splitter is fine)
oh and four odd wheels lol-the rest of the bodywork is in great condition and its done 65k 2 owners from new,
i bagged it for £200 quid on the principle i could break it if i changed my mind, got it back to my garage and work commenced...




got bonnet off (binned),aircon rad,rad,lights etc bumper is ready to sort and got the coolant pipes etc out and engine loom pulled back through bulkhead...not bad as id only owned it 3 hours lol...
basically intentions are as follows...

bumpers and arches (along with steinmetz skirts-cheers fazza ) sprayed gloss black,along with the morrettes off mine
the bonnet off mine painted arden blue
take the shafts,spax,mounts and anything else (momo wheel,buckets,harnesses etc) off mine and fit the other engine i have into the newer car,progress will be as and when (work,girlfreind-you know the score)
although im not doing anything different im doing what i want to,i thought id document it on here this time,look foreward to the flaming or love for yet another arden blue c20xe project

Old corsa a converted 1.4 16v, just a straight swap then ?

the old one was a 1.4 sport before i converted it...so is the new one...im hoping to sell a few bits to make back some money and clear space,id like to put a link in my sig for this but dont know how

andy sadly dont want to venture into saab engine till im more confident
arron you have a u2u regarding the head...buy it!! lol got the engine out today...had no hoist so did it the naughty way with a mate..a jack... some rope and lots of bricks!!!
