imo if you just want to remove the wiper id just get a gromit like i have, waste of money to get the hole welded up and painted etc for the price of a £1.18 gromit (get 3 in pack from halfords)

or just get the boot semi smoothed

I'd rather spend £100+ getting it sorted than driving round with a rubber bung in a hole where obviosuly a wiper should be!

you get a 19/22/24mm gromit in a pack for £1.18

fit the gromit, if you like it without one then get it smoothed (semi smooth not just the wiper as it looks abit :S imo, think sporty something as this done on his though for you to get an idea)
