How much would I get shafted if I were to be caught with an 11 month old baby in my car sitting on someones knee and not in a car seat?(I'm refusing to do it and mums having a fit!)

Um.....You would get a rollocking in person and they'd just say where is the car seat...


However i wouldnt ever do it, never know what could happen !! Personal guilt would detroy you if anything happened to the kid !

Exactly Neo. Exactly! I refuse to put him in danger like that because even if my driving is good, someone elses might not be. It's my bloody car, what I say should go. If they want to be so damned stupid they should learn to drive themselves! (Can you tell I'm angry? ) It's not even like it's a short trip, it's a fifteen minute drive into a busy town centre.

If its going to be a long running thing, could you not buy a baby seat ? I even have one for my car in the event i take my sister somewhere, just have to throw it in as and when. Useful to have one regardless

And just tell them to walk or catch a bus

Oh we have a baby seat but I don't have five doors and it doesn't fit past my front seat. I also have an airbag for my front passenger that I can't/don't know how to turn off.

Could you feed it through the back, put one side of the rear down so you can get it in ?
