As ive decided i want Jenveys now by a certain someone! I need to know the best place to get them from!

Will need to be with managment go-tec or similer, i was thinking Jam-Sport as they seem a pretty good company!

Any other ideas where i can get them from/fitted/set up?

Thanks

out of intrest why jenvey ?

Jamsport could do the whole job, supply/fit/map

also have TOTD local to you, who could do the same

northampton motorsport as above

Also management wise go for one that suits your needs...dont get suckered into ones with fancy features you wont use. Also choose one that your chosen mapper frequently uses as support when things go wrong will be readily availible

thats air enough, its what ive got too, and theres fantastic parts back up

theres just a few other options on the market which could be of intrest, depends if your just after a nice strong engine, or breaking the mold

have you looked into using a dcoe fitment or direct to head ?

Well thats completely up to you? I'd talk to a range of companies like jr has mentioned like TOTD and Northampton Motorsport and Jamsporrt and then then go with the one you feel are giving you the best deal?

If you are going to visit the pod lots launch control could be good but then again not healthy on the clutch so you need to weigh up what you want from it all.

depends, if your not going to use it dont get it ?

GOTEC is fantastically priced whitin the market, and will do everything you need and more, but obviouslt jamsport are the experts in mapping it, so if i was having it tweeked i would only feel happy using them

Agree with Fad, but take into account the price as well, you can get the top of the range Gotech supplied, fitted and mapped with every feature under the sun for less money than a Motec ECU, with less features, alone.

Jamsport will do it for around £2750 supplied fitted and mapped, drive in drive out, in around a week.

you will be best off with a 30 degree inlet, and like JR says there are numbers of different makes, for example novatech, DTA and even the dbilas set up can be modified well.

tbh i havent really looked about doing anything other then another set of tb's as i think the dblias ones are pretty basic and not very nice to look at.

Looking for a bit more usable power as im looking to do a few tracks this year

Also, if the features are there, you don't have to use them...

have you considerd the other tuning options ? which are alot easier as well

Yup I agree Gotech is excellent rember reading the feature on PF Nicks RST running this.

Aside from this if you go for a specialist management you really are limiting who you can take the car to. For example there are more mappers out there who are competant with say Omex and Emerald etc

well there is the sound put in this question, as the dblias ones arnt very loud, would some sort of trumpets make it louder?

What like cams? not much else i can think of.

ive just noticed you have diblias tb;s allready ?

personally i would get:

dibilas vernier pullies
264 degree cams
btb manifold and decat
arp rod bolts
decent clutch
unichip or similar piggy back ecu with raised limiter

could do that all for under £1300 i reckon

dont base engine mod on sound or looks

them not beeing load is a good thing, as you wont get onto many trackdays with silly loud induction

its also to do with the inlet angle, my jenveys are alot louder than my dbilas ones, trumpets do act as a amplifier on them

If they're competant with those, they'd be competant with the Gotech software, it's very easy to work with compared to some of the other types, which seem to be complicated for the sake of it.
