Just a wee post to say that she is still very much the same. Still in a coma.
Im still phoning every day, and going up to see her every second day.
This will be 17 weeks on Saturday.
Hopefully not much longer.

Did you get her an ipod with her fav tunes on for christmas in the end?
How far away is she from where you live? Hope she wakes up soon

I got her a CD Player that plays MP3's for her room. I'l download albums every now and then and take them up. I figured having earphones in would be annoying for long periods. She has an Ipod anyway....
Shes only 20miles away so its not too bad for me.
Cheers everyone.
Im glad Xmas / New Year is past though!

She hasnt got earphones. I got her a CD Player for her room. Read my post again.
She was in a head on car crash in her Saxo. She suffered multiple fractures and possible brain damage.
The reason for getting her a CD player is that she CAN hear whats going on. When spoken to, her heart rate and respiratory rate goes up and she 'stirs' (opens her eyes slightly).
EDIT: I cant search on here so here a link to the thread on Novaload/PNG http://www.pngclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=108321

To be honest, i think its what any decent person would do.
I'd be disgusted if anyone thought about deserting their other half cos they were in a coma.

Since the crash she has progressed with.....
She has started breathing on her own now which is a big bonus.
Her broken bones have all healed except her left foot which is still broken and will need operated on.
She reacts to voice and touch. When spoken to she opens her eyes ever so slightly.
When you hold her hand, she wont let your hand go, and grips on really tight. And will move her hand around to try and get a grip of yours.
Hopefully not long now...
