This is really getting on my fucking nerves. Each day I have about 6-10 junk flyers through my letter box, builders, carpet cleaning, take aways, you name it.
For about a year I have had a clear note on my door which reads as follows:-
No junk mail please, I don't want a manicure, my driveway is new as are my windows, I don't need a free car/holiday, my carpets are clean and I don't buy delivered frozen foods.
People still don't listen, currently in a bad mood so I have just chased somebody and shoved it back at them and asked to read the door note back to me. So I have made a new note, is this too rude?
I DO NOT WANT ANY JUNK MAIL!!!
No double glazing
No carpet cleaning
No driveways/roofs/bla bla
No take aways
No manicures, sun tans or other beauty stuff
No estate agents
No betterware/food services etc
If you aren’t the postman, courier or other wanted mail then **** off.
Please respect this, otherwise I will be returning the flyer to you within seconds of it coming through my letter box in a less than friendly manner.
Does anyone else have this problem? Why don't they get a fucking proper job. Unluckily for them I am usually in the lounge working and I will honour my threat. I know it's a minor thing but the principle fucking angers me.

I did think that, but at least they can't complain when the door flings open.

I wonder if people are doing it because of the note on the door Give them a reason to piss you off
Build them up, for a couple months, then go into one of these places and throw them all over their floor

I'm sure you know a few gun dealers or hitmen in your line of work. Could you not have a word and get them executed?

Just put a small recycling bin next to the door, anything that comes through our door that isnt wanted goes straight in there

I'am thinking of doing this tbh. Big carrier bag full of them and empty on their shop floor with a copy of my note. Does take the piss really, doesn't hurt to respect people's wishes.

For years some badger was applying for all the junk mail they could to come to our address, we were getting shit loads of it a day (used to nearly fill a bin bag a week). After a couple of months we started keeping it instead of just throwing it incase we found out who it was - the ended up fucking up and putting their name but our address on one - turned out to be the mother of this spacko who thought I was bullying him at Primary school (I wasnt).
They got all these bags ripped open and thrown through their door and it soon stopped not long after

idiots. This isn't addressed to me, it literally is just a flyer than the fucks on 50p an hour deliver to all of the houses. Just smacks desperation to me if all they can muster up is a cheap shitty A5 flyer through people's doors.

TBH I'm quite glad of takeaway menus dropping through the door. Never mind trying new places. I've got a nice collection of menus.

It maybe quite far, but it would stop the junk mail.

If it were semi legal I wouldn't have any issue, get rid of a few greasy foreigners while I'm at it.

New facebook/vigilante group? + seeing as Gordon Brown bums anything 'green', how about the fact we are reducing paper waste??
Maybe I can charge these people £5 green tax per flyer they are delivering, then chop off their fingers after they hand over their monthly earnings.
