Bought this GSi about a week ago now, bought the car as a non runner with a burst coolant pipe at the back of the block, one that runs from the pastic pipe on the back of the block to the waterpump. BALLACHE to change on your back.

put a nice black silicone hose on it and was on my way.

this weekend changed, plugs, leads, dizzy cap and rotor arm, got oil and fuel filter to do tommorow in work.

got loads to sort on it, sloppy gearlinkage, spongy brake pedal, rear end is locking up under heavy braking and i think the headgasket is on its way out as the heaters arent blwoing hot all the time when the cars upto tempreture. but not the end of the world.

give it a wash and a clay bar over the weekend, only got pics of the state of the clay bar, was too dark to get pics of the car by the time i'd finished. will upload a few more tommorow.

got lots of niggly bits and bodges to put right but its not the end of the world.

Barry from safe and sound is coming on thursday to rip the dodgy clifford out thats on it and fit a nie new toad AI606 on thursday.
