front eng/rwd or mid engined?

theres beardy's twin engined and i know of a mid eng corsa with a pretty potent all steel XE motor being built

seen a mk3 fiesta with an evo 6 lump on m3 6speed box and atlas axle.

need to make a chassis to mount the engine inline!

id use an xe, cosworth, evo, or duratec, t5 or t9 box and a live axle, but thats me!

There have been a few, we did this years ago to a scrap shell to see what needed cutting in the bulkhead and its alot.
Not easy to do.
I have pictures somewhere of how we did it.

i was thinkin the saab turbo engine buy a hole car cheap mi m8 has a garege and we guna do it there in free time would b hard but worth it in long run

There is a switch under the rear seats to convert it 2 rear wheel drive.Turn it 360 degrees to the left,then another 360 degrees to the right and itl switch the active rear axle on.Best way to get to it is remove the fuel pump so you have access to the fuel tank,then use a lighter or match to shine into the tank and you will see the switch.Easy peasy.

Let us know how u get on and if u prefer it RWD.

is that a straight 6, running a prop shaft up the floor, backfloor pan cut? sorta job?

i had a good ponder about 4wd corsa, so if that rwd is like with front mounted engine, 4wd would be cool to see!
