Me and the misses are hoping to go aways this summer. We've been looking for a place to go thats:

- Around Spain, Greece, Portugal area
- Not a resort full of drunken male groups trying to get laid
- Nice quiet ish place but still places near by to have fun ie: bars, resturants etc.
- Within budget of £900

Can anyone recommend a good place to go on a holiday with your girlfriend? We want to have a laugh and visit sites and go to nice resturants and bars on the night but we don't want somewhere too lively. I went to Zante in 2005 with 13 mates and I'd never dream of going there with my girlfriend! We want to go for 1 week. Any ideas?

Salou on the Costa Dorada, not far from Barcelona so you can venture to Barca for a day and aswell. Salou has nice beaches, good bars and eateries and from my own experience it was peaceful.
I sound like Judith Charmers.

I went to Tenerife and Gran Canaria with my ex, would reccomend either of them, nice beaches, half decent nightlife should you require it, decent weather and not to long on the plane

Been twice, really nice. Better to go to Rhodes Town as its alot quieter than the other side of the island.

Don't go to Turkey.

You'll spend half of your time kicking smelly turks away from your GF.

Cruise is a good call, Ocean Village
