Sooo LPC is over in June and got a few diff jobs lined up...most paying me a reasonable sum

Been looking around for a new car by then as the ole pissrat will be gettin traded ib...and i have a major thing for a 745!

Whats the gen on these? I know they probably arent the greatest to drive and handle but as a cruiser? Im into my big cars and can afford to insure/run so any had an experiences owning/know someone who does own one?

Cos of their size etc the 745 are a crazy bargain at the mo!

Gonna go after a black one with this interior me thinks!

ChazSXI - You think you're going to be on massive money on a training contract?

Unless you plan on getting a job in a magic circle in the city of London you wont be on massive money...

Southampton and paying 26k?? That is unheard of as the regionals normal pay close to the law society minimum. I would imagine the running costs on a 745i would be high. I would sooner go for a car in the same price bracket but cheaper to run such as a VXR. Then you possibly could put some money away or move out.

Only as much as I need to but enough to have a nice car. I would never dream of spending over 25% of my disposable income I don't think.

really?

http://www.swainandco.com/index.asp?p=about

this tiny firm i applied to were offering 21k for the first year!

I know what ya mean. but im thinkin running costs etc of a vxr wont be thhaatt much less tbh!

Im into the bigger luxury cars...the barges..i love em!

If im bringin in say £1300 and paying rent to live at home(for the first year) leaves me with £1100 minsu credit card etc i should be left with a good £900 a month id be happy chuckin £400 a month into runnin a car if im honest!

Not really a car for a 22yr old imo but then I dont suppose youd be taken seriously if you turned up at court in a VXR

What about an A8?
