well today is the first day ive driven in 14 months but why are there so many noobs on the road.

was just driving work this morning being super careful and trying not stall lol when a prick in a volkswagon van decides to sit on my bumper all the way to work and getting stupidly close when i slow down to go over speedbumps.

having not "drove" for this long just wondering how many more pricks im going come across.

i did open her up along the dual carriageway though good times!!!!

Presumably you used to be one of said nobs, hence the ban? You've not driven for 14months and you're "opening her up"? ok.

So you drunk drove. So you're a nob, end of. Doesn't matter what the excuse is, you could've still killed a member of my family in your drunken stupor behind the wheel. A few feet of driving would be enough to kill someone.

Oh come on thats being a little harsh, the lad said himself that on the breath test he blew 37ppm, and the legal limit is 35 so thats hardly a drunken stupor. I'm not condoning drink driving or anything but there's no need to jump on your high horse about it.

A limit is a limit. Get over it. That legal limit has been set so would indicate that over that limit your are unfit to drive. He drove over that limit.

But why set a limit and not stick to it?

That like saying they wouldnt charge if what you stole from a shop was under 50p

Just like a speed limit really. Do 75-80 on a motorway and you'll get a telling off if your lucky. There has to be a little bit of leeway(sp) somewhere imo.
