Need some help....
Been drawing a few car pictures for my pals, it was just really a one off and I didn't mind doing it for them however I have some other people I know that want theirs done.
Ive not charged my pals for them but i feel now I'm putting a lot of work into them, my pencils and paper etc.. and not getting anything in return and I don't want the piss ripped out of me
I know their not perfect and I'm no professional artist but then again if they want perfect they can take a picture of their car and frame it.
I spend a lot of time on them, most have taken me a week to do i.e couple of hours or so at night after work.
so what I'm wanting to find out is how much roughly do use think I should charge?
Cheers Christina

say around £30-40 for your own car?
i know thats cheap and you might get tons of business at first, but thats a fair price i'd say!

Jamesvalver used to do car drawings for members for a fee, cant remember how much but it wasnt loads tenner iirc. I wouldnt say they were quite as good, still better than anyone I know can do though!!

Unqualified freelance graphic designer can charge about £10-£20 an hour. Same for most design stuff actually...

Considering they're actual drawings rather than quick sketch cartoons, I'd say charge £20 flat rate for 1, then do a deal for 2 pictures etc.

How do you do it? just looks like you have printed a picture of the car, traced the outline and then coloured it in with pencils?
Am I wrong? but technically couldn't a 3 year old do this in nursery?

Jamesvalvers were £10 + P&P for the cartoony ones. tbh, no disrespect, but mind doesn't look like it even took 1 hour, as it is a cartoon style. Those are direct replica's. Traced or not, they will take longer.
