Is this a really bad look?

Got a party in a few weeks and the theme is black and white so 1st thought was black shirt and a white tie... not sure what it will look like though!

White shirt black tie. Black pin strips on the shirt would be even better.

I just typed it in to google and one of the things that came up was never have a tie in a lighter colour than the shirt. Doh

White shirt, black tie is what I would wear to a funeral
