I think the cadbury's advert with the kids and their dancing eyebrows are very disturbing.

Come on - it wouldn't make a good road safety campaign if it was based on fact

You should know by now - bollocks and sensational slogans are far easier to make TV out of than actual raw facts and education.

Exactly

I came off the bike a few days ago due to some stupid cow who was on her phone turning into a side road right infront of me! She had the nerve to beep me as I swerved to avoid her, and came crashing down...

What did she do?? Speed off

Got radar eyes?

If he was going significantly faster than 30 his front wheel would be nicely embeded in the drivers door.

Yeh also, the first time... the bike is riding close to the kerb (out of view) (which is bad riding) and riding EXCEEDINGLY FAST... so it comes out of no where.

The 2nd time, the bike is positioned out in the center of the road and riding slowly at the speed limit

its a fucking joke of a advert.

Yes the bike is close to the Kerb but its not going to fast.. You stand still and let me ride head on towards you at 30mph and I'll bet you think I'm flying

nah it is Davey... The difference between the first and the 2nd time you see the bike there's a massive speed difference.

(the main reason there's a speed difference, is because in the 1st vid the bike isn't actually there, it's CGI'd in... hence the bike comes from no where'.

Still they're completely different speeds and the road positioning of the bike is completely different.

The first thing I learnt when riding a motorbike is to ride near the center of the road approaching junctions so people can see me coming... Also to be cautious on approach to junctions (incase someone pulls out without looking) and therefore adjust speed accordingly.

In that vid, the 1st bike is not doing any of that (poor position, fast speed) and the 2nd bike has a good position very slow speed.
