I want to build another one for my brother for when he's a little older, what are the 'in' peds nowdays? Back in my day was the Yamaha Aerox or the Aprilia SR 50...

Then Obviously someone liked my ped soooo much they decided to cut all my locks off and steal & strip it. I was devistated, 2500pounds spent onit, TP only insurance as i was selling it in a few weeks

I had an RS50 in those colours with that exact tank pad & exhaust Danny
To the OP, why have you removed all the stickers from a Rossi rep? That was the best colour scheme SR50 they made.

What it looked like after the first crash, don't have any pictures on laptop when i first got it.
Then 3rd day of owning it my mate crashed it.
Which bent the yoke etc..
Which you can see there, after i gave it a nice new respray.
My headlights.
Then i wanted to look like a Christmas tree.
Then i put it in a ditch, oops..
and then few months later i fort i wanted my friend to have a new mod with a traffic pole sticking out.
Which left my arm looking like this.
and 4 hours at hospital, i was free to go after not breaking nothing and beening lucky to be alive. as my helmet come off.

Speedfights were brand new when I had my SR50. The single suspension arm at the front was awful with cornering at speed, used to shake the steering.
They had fast accelration to say 25mph then after than my SR hit a power band and shot up to 57mph and straight past the Speedfight struggling along at 53mph.

SR was always the fastest. the morini engines were capable of 65mph with a good pipe on them. The new di-techs are wank, good on fuel but are far more tempramental than any teenage girl on here period!

My good ol Hexagon 125cc. lasted a yar or so with connecting the spark plug lead together by insulation tape. 35+k on a 125cc 2 stroke without rebuild. Ace, was so comfy that ped Brakes got hot within seconds, donut rims. Terrible ped but ace for commuting. It had a boot to take a full skid lid, and it was purple
VXR200. Se I got in there with the VXR brand early Accelerated ok, not quite as nippy as the damn 2 stroke 125 SP's, but would comfortably outpace them above 50. Sat at 88mph (speedo speed) indicated.
Piece of junk, awful wiring, 3000km roller changes, hated it. Bolts rounded off, needed a new caliper, fuel leaks, it was just plain and simply terrible!!!! Exhaust rotted within 6 months. Just awful
Check that lolvey side out where some punk decided to ram me off the bike and leave me for dead on the road. Nice bloke eh....
Scrubbed up ok when I sold it though.
