does anyone know how much behind a c20seh (130bhp) is from a c20xe?

as just got a c20seh, from a mate and is getting fitted in the next couple of days

XE has more power and torque so itl pull quite a bit harder.
My old standard XE Astra Gsi used to pull away quite easy from by bros slightly tuned SEH Astra.So in a corsa itl be pretty much the same scenario.

imo c20seh is wank

waste of time and money, may aswell go for c20xe.

i have an c20xe corsa but have driven a mates c20seh corsa and was shit tbh

my old c16xe felt quicker tbh

its slower thats for sure. what you want to do is abandom the idea and fit a 1.8 16v engine as theyre on par with turbo corsas.

well its cheap so will fit it and go from there!

i am building a turbo lump anyways so hope it wont be in there long!!

i wouldnt bother and just put a 1.8 16v in. sod the turbo lump. you will be disappointed.

I actually beleive that.
My mate had a 1600 Tigra and it used to keep up with the above mentioned SEH Astra.

its the conversion to do. dont believe the bhp and torque figures as the numbers arent importand its all about the delivery. faster than a c20let corsa, slay an xe without any hassles. this is what people are saying.

but yeah fit the seh, theyre an old engine these days. just abuse it till you fit the turbo motor.

Not been in one myself but will be getting it done.

Either way it's going to feel fast to me after having a 12v for so long

I wouldn't mind a SEH on 40's/45's but the XE is a more powerful engine all in.
