Well, i px'd the Vectra for this...

Saxo VTR
W reg
85k
FSH
12month MOT
6months Tax

Looks tidy enough after a good wash, first thoughts were 'i hate this piece of shit' but after giving it some stick down the back lanes im starting to 'like' it.
It still a noisey rattley tin can but its quite fun to drive and is surprisingly nippy.
The cash came in handy to pay solicitors fees for the house purchase and having a company van im only using a car like twice a week to nip out in.

Im thinking of sourcing a standard exhaust from somewhere as the noise is a bit chav and i feel a twat driving it!

What you reckon?

De-chav it with the tints and exhaust and it'll be a winner

I love mincing around in my 106, simple and quick

Theres nothing wrong with a french tin as a normal town car.
If you want a cheap run around the french tins are the way.

Thanks Fad, i have noticed it seems quite economical to be honest, i cant imagine the big bore is doing it any favours though, too the induction kit off today too.

Ye still got it mate, was going to sell it last year but as its worth peanuts now I thought I might as well keep it.

I bought my 106 when I put my Audi up forsale as I thought it would go in no time, I was wrong

Liking the colour. Very subtle. I'd leave it low if it's practical but away with the pipe and tints as said previously.

Always fancied a pre face lift VTS in the blue they started off in.

Jim you'd never fit in it let alone get a toe on a pedal. Even I struggle to get used to the pedals on my bros VTR

Not at all, i was worried i would struggle with the pedals especially coming from my Audi S3s and the Vectra but they really are fine with my sz11 feet!

Im going to keep it low, it suits it i think, i dont think the tints are too bad are they?

Cheers

Coool. I'm 6' 3'' too and I only have size 11 feet (my cock must be smaller than Eck's) so I should fit.

Even if I did find one to be too small for me, I could still go for a nice 205 GTi as they are the size of the Albert Hall inside. Would cost more to buy than a Saxo though.

Bloody supply & demand and residual values.
