Anyone been?
I am looking to get out there for a week middle of May. I have been June time before and it was hot.
Wondering what the weather was like?
I have checks lots of average temp websites online but would like to hear it from the horses mouth...

Where abouts in Turkey are you going?
Obviously it will appear cooler towards the coast with the coastal breeze.
Middle of May will be Mid to high 20s. Think last year, we were getting about that 28 degrees on the coast just north of Izmir. Will be warmer further south of that, and inland
Its usually about the end of July where the mid day temperatures are rediculously hot inland.

I am dubious about going in May now as most the websites are saying its warm-ish.
I want it to be scorching...couldn't hack a holiday that you couldn't lay in the sun all day.
