Some of you may remember a month and half ago I posted up on here that my girlfriend had split up with me after 4 years as she had feelings for her friend (female).
Anyways I got a text and call of her yesterday asking to get back with me. I've said no as I don't wanna go back. Over a month has passed and I'm loving single life and going out and meeting people, and generally doing what I want when I want and not having to worry about anyone else.
Been kind of meeting up with another other girl the last few weeks, sh*gging and going out occasionally. Told her I aint looking to rush anything and just got out a relationship etc as she asked me what we were! Anyways when she is with me she comes across as being really keen and into me, always making flattering comments about me. But when she is not she seems to blow cold. Last night she said she'd give me a lift home from the pub but ended up making me wait an hour then said she had broken down so couldn't get me.
Don't know if I believe her and whether I should really be bothered? I didnt bother replying to her text and just went to sleep! Technically we're both single but if you like someone enough then you don;t mug them off surely?

Maybe she wants to take the relationship further but it comes across to her that you just want to sh*g her and get a run home from the pub from her Sorry to hear about your original g/f having feelings for her female friend. That must have been a weird and hard one to take.

I understand the "when your not there she's cold" although that may be because you havent commited, end of the day she is completely entitled to fuck you off for another bloke who wants to commit (if thats what she wants).
If you like her that much, whats the harm in actually dating her properly ? Few meals out or what have you, maybe lay off the sex and show you like her for reasons other than that. Still play it slow (none of the affectionate stuff you might have done with the ex and none of the patterns you may have fallen into i.e. being a taxi, lending cash etc)
If it goes pear shaped in 6 months time, at least you werent worried about her messing about with other blokes or mugging you off ?

She did ask the other night before she left will I be seeing her again which I said of course to.

How i see it is you dont want to get mugged off for stupid reasons, you dont want her to see other guys (even though you arent dating)
But you don't want to date her because of your recently split with your ex (sorry btw)
2 Ways to look at it really, be single, go out and knob a few birds for 6 months and see where you stand with her then, you might meet someone better in this time anyway
Or ask her out properly just take it slow and see each other...once or twice a week just for a drink, lay off the sex for a couple of weeks and see how you stand then. If you like it then get closed, if you wish you were single again tell her honestly you made a mistake.
Maybe fire off some kunckle children and think about it after  Clear head and all.

Your single and so is she, play it cool... if she likes you she will apologise etc. Let her do the running. Your just in it for the sex yeah? So anything else is jut a bonus and its upto her to push for it if thats what she wants.

thats her problem then, he was honest with her from the start saying he didnt want anything serious so shes only got herself to blame if shes falling.
Just leave her, she will come back for another ride dont worry, if not then a bitch is a bitch - some are just more comfortable than others.

if you don't want anything serious then why start moaning that she is "messing with your head"? you can't have it both ways. you either go for it and make it exclusive (in which case i could understand the point of the thread) or keep it casual. from her point of view she is into a guy who doesn't want a relationship so she's probably thinking you are using her.

there is nothing wrong with getting into her so long as she knows that. if you really like her then tell her so. if you tell her the opposite then no wonder you feel like she is messing with you. she is basing her actions on the fact she thinks you want casual sex basically. i know you are still hurt from what happened with your ex but that shouldn't stop you going for it with this one. you could be missing out on the perfect girl for you because you feel that you should out with the lads after breaking up with the ex. fuck that, i'd say go for it. you obviously like her enough to be upset that she let you down. you need to tell her how you really feel before someone else does.
