My miles per gallon has been decreasing slightly but i think this is because of my driving style, and i was just wondering everyone's mpg, i get approx 45 Mpg locally with my 12v corsa. Thats when i am driving properly.

How the hell did they do that, i did 30 mpg on the way back for a 300 miles journey and 90% was motorway, was thrashing it.

Depends, sometimes my daily commute I hit the high 60's low 70's in the Ibiza. Other journeys can differ greatly though. My trip comp for the last 10000 miles says 55.4mpg though which I can't complain about

1.6 vts hdi, no less than 47mpg round town canning it, Motorway gentle (65 -> 70) 60+mpg, Motorway thrashing, 51/53mpg
Evidence = Mix of (almost exactly) half motorway gentle, half town on a 400mile run

easy just stick to 70 and find a coach/van thats doing the same speed and sit behind it
tbf when i did the 60mpg it was going down to bath at rush hour so was averaging about 60mpg and had 2 lots of roadworks with 50mpg limits so quite easy

Considered selling my Nova at one point as its so expensive on petrol, Only has 4 gears which doesn't help much but if i drive it like an old woman i manage a semi decent amount.£15 - 30 miles is a slight exaggeration but not that far off, in seriousness half a tank lasts me about 80 miles.
