I personally cannot see a problem with that at all.
Why not? They want to do a specialist job, so why not adapt something to enable them to do it?

Because the required equipment isn't to look good, it's to stop them being killed.
Who gets held liable when a bullet goes right through one of the turbans, it won't be the fault of the idiot that suggested it will it, it'll fall on somebody else.

probably best they quit the police, become jobless and claim benefits then?
Also anyone who leaves this country, for holidays and such SHOULD behave like locals, not get pissed up in San Antonio with a bunch of mates. Brits have a lot of double standards, we've ruined parts of some countries.
All personal opinion of course 
I do actually agree with Mr Silva 100%, but i don't see that much of an issue with working people asking for adaptations to something
If I was a midget i'd ask for a smaller chair at work?

That's because you can't help being small but they don't have to wear a turban on their head do they? They knewthe job requirments before they signed up and done all the training for the police. You can't just go around making demands now that you're in the force.
