no map sensor control no amal valve for the boost etc. i mean it would run yes. but it wouldnt be good.

is the amal valve actually needed? ive seen some people use a boost tap adjuster item to go between the turbo and actuator instead of the amal valve?

Its not needed when running a controller.

there are 4 wires to the coil pack. there are 3 to the dizzy and an amp under the coil. how are you going to tell the let ecu to fire the dispack in pairs? you cant.
you need after market ecu, or to run the xe dizzyless ecu and hope for the best. its not as simple as adding wires.

something rwd at a guess.
but no you cant make the let ecu work with a coil pack. you could use the xe dizzyless ecu and loom and then a coil pack and it would run the engine. its just not ideal you could get a basic dta s40 or something for under 500 quid which would be far far better suited to running on a coilpack.
so to answer the thread....
cant use a coilpack with the std c20let ecu
could use the dizzyless xe ecu and loom, not ideal but would run
could go for aftermarket and not worry about any of the above
