Me and Butler woke up today at early o clock and met up at 6:30 am in a Shell Garage somewhere near the m40.

My car was going to need plenty of this ... 103p a litre I cried a little.

The reason of our visit...

And we were greated by (Broster), but this 'young' scamp came in and pretended to be a secretary.

Some say he's a bit Gay, some say he needs (needed) a hair cut, some say he starred in the early series of skins as Sid, all I know is - his name is Robin and comes across a genuinely nice chap.

James was soon persuaded to fit this 'Inlet' to his car by Mark and Robin, despite it looking very similar to the thing fad's been waiting a while for... I'm sure it's not fads

Jame's car done...

All in - James had (was talked into buying) a new cambelt, inlet, brakes and decat - he only went there to get a new cambelt

... Then we decided to go for a test drive...

James was literally struggling to cope with the power he had unleased

Now it was my car's turn...

I was getting, new clutch, brakes, decat and these coilovers fitted.

While waiting, I went and watched 'Star Trek' - Good film and decided to try a 'Big Tasty'... which was pretty average.

My car finished

Err... I think it's lower? Currently super soft, softer than standard... Rolling around like a boat at sea. Hopefully since it's got adjustable height, compression and damping i can sort that out - I aim to return to Jamsport next Sat and get it set up to my tastes (preferably when it's not raining for the test drive).

Definately needs to be stiffer I think...

Anyway top service by the guy's at Jamsport, thanks to Mark, Robin and Jamie (and the other people) Had some good banter in the waiting room, including accusing Robin of being Pugnut, making a post on here that seemed to cause a major upset and texting fad to tell him Butler's just stolen his inlets.

Yeh well, I think the springs will settle a bit and may become lower... but otherwise I think i'd go a touch lower and stiffer...

After looking at 'before' pics - I notice the ride height is no different I don't really want to 'slam' it as I use it as track and I don't want it super stiff as I drive it daily... but it's currently defeating the point of buying them to have stock height with softer...

The coilovers are good though, just need to be re setup.

but yes - definate hole in my wallet... Honda Clutches don't come cheap Note honda quoted £950 for the clutch alone... so jamsport saved me a bit of money there, but you can get an idea of the total cost from that - Although jamsport did me some great deals.

I'm giving it a week to bed in (springs will settle) and see how I feel with it, then going back on sat to get it set up for free

My own fault really, I said I wanted it soft as it's my daily driver and I was scared of the back end in the wet... so they gave me what i asked for really.

Yeh Corby is up north imo

I don't go any higher than northampton as far as I'm aware the world drops off at that point.
