He well and truely got ripped a new one! However, he does state that he needed a car ASAP to get to work and no one else would give him finance, which didn't really leave him with many options (if any at all apart from this finance company).

He really should have doen a bit of homework or asked around for loan rates before taking that out. Buying from Carcraft says it all tbh. Good luck to him

i once went to the carcraft at sheffield...when my kids were younger and i needed a mpv..the first thing i was asked was how much can you afford a month ...looked at a 3 yr old espace y reg diesel 2.2 with leather screen price was £16995 ... so with my 620ti as trade in 60 months at £450 which suddenly dropped to £400 a month when i questioned it.....i laughed so you want me to pay £24000 plus a £1500 car for a £17k car thats 4k overpriced as it was then...the salesman stammered and stumbled and i got up and walked out....

So he's paying £150 p/m when he earns £160 p/m The words escape me. If he was that desperate for a car, he should have kept his Punto. It may have been falling apart but if it was still road legal that's all that matters! The youth of today frighten me.
