I've got 5 new Vauxhall bulbs painted with transleucent glass paint. It comes out a kind of pale blue/greenish colour in the dash [see pic] although I've no idea what colour it will appear in the mfd.
£5 posted to your door, you can't buy the bulbs alone for that.
I've only got the one set so will go to the first person to reply on here if interested.

How long does the paint last on the bubs?
I done some with proper glass paint that you put in the oven to bake it and they still only lasted a month

They won't fit your dash 'cos yours uses the two bigger bulbs. I can paint yours for you though if you want. Those other two you had are the wrong ones, I've still got them here for you.

Not had any probs yet. I've also used proper glass paint, it says to bake in the oven to make dishwasher proof. I've not baked mine 'cos I don't plan on putting them through the dishwasher

No, sorry. The dash with no rev counter uses larger bulbs than these and I have none left.

I've got the smaller ones as above, yours are going to be bigger than these. I don't really plan on getting more, but if you wanted some, I could buy two bulbs, paint them and mail them to you. All I would want is the cost of the bulbs. Or if your local to Luton, bring yours here and I'll do them for you.

They should light your dash up fine, it will appear the pale blue colour like the pics above. I have a Vauxhall dealer up the road from me, I'm willing to buy two new bulbs, paint them and post them off to you. All I ask is that you reimburse me the cost of the bulbs, I'm sure I can spare a stamp to post them.
Alternately, you can post me your bulbs, I'll paint them and post them back to you the same day, it'll cost you nothing. I could even solder leds into your current bulb holders, the only problem is that with only two leds, the illumination is going to be poor and a bit patchy. Up to you mate

When you say blue and red, do you mean like the pic above? If so, I have some painted standard bulbs and a red silicone cover that gives that effect.
If you want it like this...
Then you will need to use leds on the outside and a silicone cover in the middle, but I'm pretty sure all my leds are spoken for.

m.c.n.m.. the top pic is with two painted bulbs and a silicone cover but it is a poor pic. The bottom one is two leds and a silicone cover.
whitter..Do you mean you want the bulbs Ihave here? If your dash has no rev counter, these bulbs will be too small as your dash uses two larger bulbs.

No, they will illuminate the same as the original bulbs. If you put leds in it will light poorly because its too big an area to cover with just two leds.
I'm going to pick up a couple of bulbs for a local guy in the morning, I can get two more if you want them. I'll paint them and post to you, you just reimburse me the bulb cost.
