Planning on packing up the car next month & going on a road trip for 4 or 5 nights.

Plan is that there really is no plan. Basically pack up some clothes & head south in my car, hunting some decent roads along the way. Drive each day in seek of adventure until were tired then find somewhere to stay using the medium of the i-phone & sat nav. make some decisions via toss of a coin/pulling straw's/chinese burns etc & find some utterly odd places to stay. Barter with the locals, bake fresh bread, be at one with nature & live off the land etc etc

Maybe go to the Isle of White for a day, or Ireland or where ever we fancy going. Im also tempted to shoot through the tunnel but dont have euro ins cover so probably just stick to the UK for less hassle & no frogs.

Anyone done such a thing before? Think it could be a good laugh?

Go to the Isle of Man, no speed limits.

And as far as I know it's a legal requirement for insurance to cover you a minimum of 90 days in Europe, you just need to ring and tell them.

The wigwams have electric heating, single socket outlet and tea/coffee making facilities.
Electric supply is via a £1.00 meter, t.v is also available by request.

Tarriff:

Prices are £10.00 per person per night.

Yeah its not exactly a traditional wigwam. I'll have to rethink this.

I want to chop logs & wear wooly jumpers & cook baked beans on a stove, where should I head for that? Liverpool

Nope, English insurer covers it. A few insurers now do 365 day Euro cover, NFU and ecar included.
