well after being told i was obese by a computer (i already had guessed this as im a fat twat), and after a recent visit to the doctors due to insomnia and not being able to sleep properly for about a month. i got told by the doc, lovely woman she is (no pics) that perhaps its caused by being unhealthy.

so my quest to become healthy and lose a bit of the fatness has begun. anyone has any tips please let me know as im not the kind of person that cares much for diets etc.

my first point to make that has annoyed me is a healthy choice lasagne from tesco. is it called healthy choice as the portion isnt enough to feed an infant? is this the future i face?

thanks in advance, from the soon to be less fat nicolas tiberious barnes III'rd

Excercise and a stable, healthy eating plan. None of this eat a stick of celery every few hours and drink nothing but your mothers piss, diets are crap and don't work. Burn off more than what you take in.

Live off cereal, that's what I do when I start putting on weight - can normally shift a stone in about a month.

well sounds daft, but im planning on using my awesome exercise bike while playing a bit fifa on the games machine. that is the only way i can see myself not getting bored quickly. as i have a very very short attention span really.

most of the weight ive put on over the last few years (i was 12 stone in 2002) is possibly due to increased snacking due to the munchies. although ive cut back on the thing that causes the munchies, so hopefully that may help some also.

my normal shopping trip consists of bread, cheese, pizzas, microwave meals normally curry related, crisps and some fizzy drinks. this is bad. i know its bad. and really i should have done something more about it sooner.

other issues are my job is driving. i drive all day. it becomes very boring. so having a back of some random sweets, often mint imperials seems to take away the boredom.

im doomed. a shade over 17 stone currently. imagine the 1/4 mile times id have if i were a skinny runt.

start paying attention to nutritional info on packaging now, steer clear of high calorie and carbohydrate food(inparticularly the 'of which sugars' part). Try and stick to three decent healthy meals a day and if you have to snack have a piece of fruit, bananas are pretty filling. get yourself some multi vitamin tablets and try not to eat after 10pm. Good news is you dont have to cut back on tea

Rice is your future and counting calories!

Eat less calories and do more exercise.

I eat rice pretty much everyday, some toast in the morning and then dinner which is about 600 calories, rice and something from a tin to make it up to 600 Cal.
Probably with liquids about 1200 calories A day. 1 ltr of Orange juice is like 450 calories.

Failing all that, more sleeping pills or just played on xbox live for 30 minutes and you will be bored to sleep

Scrap that.

Chicken is the way forward. Tasty, and full of protein.
Rice is full of carbs. Its good for you, but theres no need to eat so much of it.

Also 1 litre of orange juice is going to be very high in natural sugar.
I drink nothing but water, and lots of it.
The better hydrated your body is, the more efficient it works.
Its recommended that you drink about 8 glasses (not pints) of water per day.

I think it may be 8 glasses of water per day actually, but the only glass I have is a pint glass
Regardless, I normally get through about 8 pints.

Saying that, i do piss like a race horse

fizzy flavored water ftw ! Still very low 1ltr is 16 calories and 4% of your daily sugar intake and taste a lot better.

Just eat rice because its tasty and cheap.
Chicken is a lot better but I don't pay for the shopping.

You will get used to the smaller portions, only need 2000 - 2200 calories a day, something like 4 mars bars to you
But I'm not a fan of mars bars!

Also, take pictures of yourself to keep track of progress. Once a month or something like that.

Its good to look back and see how big you were, and its more rewarding to compare two pictures than to compare numbers on scales.
