it is pressurised but iirc with out constant feed of gas you lose pressure try it...

the keg where you connect the tap has what is called s spear going down the barrel, dont drill the barrel cause if it is pressurised.... it may hurt

A group of mates found one once and used a screwdriver to push the top in - it came out, but only a pitiful little dribble. Tap's the only option I think.

You need the gas and a chiller, pretty useless without them even if it is free.

Yep...you need gas to make it fizzy and a chiller to make it cold as previously said.

You'll only getabout £20 for half a keg at best. They only cost about £40 cost when full.

You get 80 pints from a 10 gallon keg.

£40 for a 22 gallon (176 pints)? Which is what it probably is. Your dreaming Even if its an 11 gallon it will be more than £40

It won't be a 22gallon???? No-one buys in 22's these days...not in England anyway.

11 gallon keg of carlsberg costs us £76.85. i've just checked. My £40 was a bit old!!!

I work for Marriott, no Marriott hotel in Europe buys in 22's. Neither do Hilton for that matter. But thats just hotels, maybe bars & pubs still do.
