Yes but sometimes people have been wrongly sent to prison, are you saying those people should stay there anyway?

This proves how much shite you spout
There are judges, professors, lawyers, MP's and everything in between that have studied every facet of evidence presented in the case and couldn't come up with that little gem you have.
He was put in jail on the back of a trial which had massive discrepancies and all the hallmarks of a setup. But what the hey, Edd knows best.

I havent no, I said there was a chance it wasnt him. I didnt mention if he was involved or not, nor did I state my opinion. You cant really have a valid one unless you have ALL the facts, something that even you dont have. So you can get down off your high horse.

If he was sentanced to life he should spend life in jail, and if he dies in there so what
Also, if he was wrongly convicted he should stay in jail until the re-trial proves his innocence. If he dies when waiting for the re-trial nothing lost

If you were made a political scape goat due to tensions between 2 countries would you want to sit in jail while they went through another lengthy legal process? If it is proved the trial was flawed, as it has been, the defendant should then become innocent until proven guilty same as normal.
On top of all this the Justice For Megrahi campaign was started by the father of one of the people on board the plane he supposedly blew up. He is of the opinion as well as thousand of others that Megrahi is innocent.
We can only go on what is publically available but that shows quite clearly the entire legal process was a set up to see someone in jail and made a scape goat from bribes to evidence being left out the trial due to not being 'economically viable'. The whole thing is an American led circus.

Don't forget kids the Americans blew up an Iranian airliner, which was swept under the carpet as usual, so people think it was an Iranian NOT a Libyan that blew up the american plane.

Why is the use of the word ''son'' so critical in here? does it make you two feel big and strong?

Edd, when will Sky Sports News be part of the sports package? As I don't subscribe to the family pack and just have it on freeview. Cheers

TBH, I work in Lockerbie. A few of the folk I work with lived here when the atrocity actually happened and two of them think the guy is responsible and one thinks it was nothing to do with him. All three of them claim to be well read up on the subject, and all three admit that some evidence is circumstantial. So in my opinion the guy has taken the fall for something he may or may not have taken part in and has been welcomed back in Libya as a hero, which just angers people who have lost loved ones.
Personally I'm not that fussed that he has been released, I reckon the British government have made this decision and the blame is put on Kenny MacAskill. After all there is a fuck load of oil in Libya....
