I am just nearing the end of 'The Wire' which I have to say is one of the finest TV shows ever made.
I now need to get into a new series. So what should I watch next?

24.
I started about a month or so ago and I'm already on Season 5.
It totally deserves the hype surrounding it. Honestly, it's brilliant.

Twists and turns all the time. I thought the same, but so far none of the Seasons have gone how you'd guess they would after watching an hour or two.

No idea yet, I expect they'll make a big fuss when it's coming back though.
Same Gets pretty confusing after a while but want to see it all wrap up
What's the odds on it ending on some MASSIVE cliffhanger?

24 is good, although the last two seasons have struggled to meet the high standards of the first few IMO.
True blood without questions MUST be watched.
I also enjoyed Fringe and generation kill.

I just cant see how they are going to be able to explain everything thats happened in the next series. I start to think I'm sort of getting to grips with it then something will rear its head from a couple of series ago thats never been explained and leave me baffled again. That many un-explained things have gone on that you forget about

I'm considering 24 as I've never watched 1 episode, wish I had watched from the start though as I've heard nothing but good remarks,.
