well some of you might not know but its the Tokyo Game Show and GT5 is being shown.

some things i have picked up :

-Gran Turismo 5 will release in March 2010 in Japan

-Gran Turismo 5 is 65% complete

-There will be over 950 cars

-GT Mode= World Map, My Garage, Car Dealer, Tuning Shop, Championship Race, and License Test

-Arcade Mode=Single Player, split-screen two player

-Online= Open Lobby, Text/Voice Chat, Private Room, Online Photo Album, Online Replay Album, and you can export replays to YouTube

-GT TV: Improved UI, export of videos to PSP, and progressive downloading

-There will be over 20 locations and 70 tracks

-Physics: new physics, damage, movable objects on the track, and the newest hybrid and electric cars

-Animated Pit Crews

-Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4

-Mercedes SLS AMG

-Dogde Viper ACR SRT10

-Ferrari-(Ferrari 458 Italia, Ferrari Enzo)

-Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

I'm surprised they are actually still developing this game... The amount of times it's been put back, the cost of development over the past what... 3 years?? There is *no* way they are going to make there money back once the game is released...

Maybe if they didn't bother doing Prologue they might have been able to spend more time on the main game!

ive heard from a couple of people (not gt fanboys) that the physics on forza are even more for giving than forza 2 (more arcadey)

The only reason they did prologue was to support the massive development costs. In essence making everyone buy the same game twice.

So that means what? next Summer/Autumn for over here? Looks like I won't bother picking up a slim for Christmas after all.
I'd imagine there are many Microsoft execs leaping and punching the air today at the news they won't have to compete with a GT5/slim bundle this Xmas. Major bad news for Sony.

They will probably release it in Japan and then see they need to make more changes to the Eu version, somewhere around Oct 2010 I reckon it will be out.

65% complete and the only videos they can show are some slow boring ones

Scary that they advertise all the super cars now, GT was never about them before, seems too much focus on them for my liking.

Need videos of some retro jap crap with no driving aids, cockpit view, loud exhaust notes, drifting around a race track not this cruising super car crap

Put some life and soul in to it, seems fu**ing dead from the videos they release.
