ok, so left the lights on for a few hours last sunday, battery went dead altho enough to power lights, radio and rcl.
tried jump startign it monday night with a yaris, no luck
bought an auto charger form halfords today and its been on charge since 2ish, charging light is still on, first time it nearlky started altho didnt use accelerator and it died, just keeps clickin now or doing nothing at all but the dash lights go dim as startign it
what the fuck is up??

battery went in mine. could jump it would run, drive about fine, getting good voltage from alt, knock it off was flat again. just wasnt charging. got another battery to try on it quickly?

Sounds to me like the battery has died, try testing it with a multimeter.

you sure you jump started it right? my car starts and runs without a battery at all if i connect jump leads to the battery cables

connect jump leads, start the car and keep the revs at 2k-3k for a minute antry to start you car then.

some battery chargers are only supposed to be used up to a certain CC also, so if youve got a big engine trying to jump off a 1.2 yaris and a battery charger only good enough to start a 2000cc it wont work, or i could be talking shit and you may just have a shot battery 
either way..
